Blue YETI Mic for gaming?
I have a Corsair VOID gaming head set, will I notice a huge difference in Voice Quality or barely?

Also, I found a Blue Yeti with 2 filters for $92. Good price?

It's better for sure, but it's not really that necessary.

of course it will be better which is not hard. Audio wise pretty anything is better then Corsair.
However there is no advantage for gaming in a better mic.

Befor I would pick somethign that expensive I wouldnt go with a Blue Yeti and go all the way in with something liek Rode NT USB or Audio Technica Condensor Mic

You should consider a cheap XLR microphone with a amp instead. If on a tight budget a Neewer NW-800 condenser mic with a 48V Phantom power supply amp and stand would cost less yet would have equally good sound. Plus if you ever later upgrade to an ever better XLR mic you will already have an amp now, and the also the Blue Yeti mic is bulky and hard to put on a scissor arm stand.

I also consider doing live streams with OBS and YouTube. But is $92 worth it? It comes with 1 pop off filter and a stand filter.

If $92 seems too steep you can save some money and still get equally good audio with what I suggested above. But yes regardless of what you go with it will be a good improvement from the low quality mic from your Corsair Void headset.
Derailed question about dynamic mic don't necessarily bother and answer and just send me a friend request instead. https://pastebin.com/2rZbxfXn

Just stick to what you have, you don't need to get another mic.. It's not going to make much of a difference even as a streamer

In most cases it wouldn't really matter, the audio quality will be arse (video games voip (really bad), or voice chat program (Discord, Teamspeak, Skype) have limits on the amount of data they can send and what codec is used.)
Youtube / Twitch streaming wod be similar too, you wouldnt really notice a difference between the mics, and both would give more than acceptable quality.

Only time I would say it mattered is if youre doing something where you needed super brilliant recordings with it, like music production.

You (and everyone listening to you) would be more than happy with a Blue Yeti (or whatever the Audiotechnica counterpart is), providing youve got it set up properly (so there is no peaking, poping, and picks up everything youre saying.)

You can definitely tell the difference. I try to steer people away from all of these "gamer" products including USB microphones and headsets because they tend to be a bad marketing gimmick.

I'll link you everything you need. The final price is $83.49. It's a much better deal for what you're actually getting. If you have extra cash, later on, you can replace the Xm500 with a Shure58.

Blue Yeti is alright, but you can get a better setup for the price that's going to be much better quality. I'll link you everything you need, I try to discourage people from buying these "gamer" USB mics. The final price is $83.49. It's a better deal, a better setup, and much more durable.

Yeti is not a "gamer" product. It's suited to everyone and popular for a reason, and it will be better quality than what you're preaching.

Yeti is marketed towards streamers, gamers, broadcasters, and anyone who needs a mic for general use. I'm not saying the Yeti is bad: I have one. But it's popular because of its convenience and ease of use. But a non USB setup will blow it out of the water any day.

But I have both and the setup I gave is superior. I'm not saying that the Yeti is bad: it's actually decent if you fine tune it and don't mind it picking up KB + M clicks every now and then. But USB mics, in general, tend to be lower quality than actual setups.

It works perfectly fine when setup properly, and it's more convenient.
