Corsair commander pro vs nzxt hue 2
Corsair commander pro vs nzxt hue 2

I'm thinking about upgrading my case and when i do i am planing on buying a Corsair commander pro or nzxt hue 2, to give my pc some RGB. Having a hard time deciding which one to get. I don't have any rgb fans as of yet. But I prefer the look of the corsair HD120 Rgb fans

I've done so looking around but mostly found videos talking about the hue vs the corsair node pro. Or just videos on them individually. The commander pro would go well with my corsair h100i cpu cooler and psu both already connected via corsair link already.

Any thoughts on which on is better would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Corsair fans are superior to NZXT. NZXT Aer fans are literly trash. Would recommend the Corsair LL over the HD.

Yeah, the HD colors are washed out & way too bright except on the primary ccolors. Red and blue show up nice, purple ok, but mixes like Orange and pink suck.

I own both the Corsair HD fans and the LL series fans. I'll say the HD fans can move more air than the LL series fans, but the RGB looks so much better on the LL series fans. The color gradient is superior on the LL series, the HD fans almost look like christmas tree lights, and the HD fans at full speed are noisy.

If you have a cramped case, I'd say the HD fans are better, but if you have decent airflow in your case, visually, the LL fans are much better.

The difference between HD and LL cooling performance wise is minor to inmeasurable (within margin of error).
Both the HD as well as the LL shouldn't run at full speed. 60-70% is more then enough and give great cooling performance. Corsair fans excel at lower RPM unlike Noctua fans which only perform good at high RPM.
Alternatively you have the ML RGB. RGB wise they are like the LL without the outer RGB ring (only 4 led in the inner fan ring) but since they are magnetic levatation instead of ball bearing they are even more silent.

(I also own both and work with all 3 on daily basis)
