[Solved] Hauppauge Colossus 2 pci-e capture card jerky/stuttering output video.

I've had this card for like a year now if I'm not mistaken and it's worked great with the Hauppauge Capture software. All of a sudden after a clean install of Windows (from 1809 to 1903 then back to 1809 again), the output video is jerky. Like every half second you can tell the frame rate drops and and just looks choppy/jerky. Can't fix it, bout to give up. I don't have the patience to rma stuff so i'd just throw this card in my closet until I feel like playing with it again in the future. If anyone has run into this issue and fixed it maybe they can let me know what's up. Output video looks fine in the capture window and on my tv through a splitter.

things I've tried...

-changed pci slot of the card
-clean installed windows
-removed drivers/software, re-installed software/drivers
-compatibility mode with Windows 8/Windows 7
-run as administartor
-switched output video to different disk drive (currently back to my m.2 ssd)
-set Windows power plan to ultimate
-updated bios/reset bios
-Got windows up to date
-tried obs studio instead

My psu is a 650 watt so not sure if it'a a matter of power because I also have a rtx 2070. Also not sure if ram. I did run a memtest and one full pass showed no errors. Don't feel like buying a brand new of anything just for this. I know it's probably a long shot and nobody here probably has experience with a card or an issue like this.

In case anyone else with Hauppauge capture card is having these same issues, latest version of Hauppauge Capture fixes these issues. It's even in the release notes.

That is solid advice. I did that over and over again. Still same issue.

Fixed by new Hauppauge Capture application. It's even in the release notes, in case anyone else is interested in this or finds someone that is having the same problem.
