Audio Services not responding. Need help
Hey, now. Backstory.

about an hour ago, I "was" planning to record my voice for a video, but my computer just won't detect my mic. I know my mic isn't dead because I can hear the output via headphones. I am on a Windows 10 computer, I have check recent updates, I have those, checked sound driver updates, I have checked the trouble shoot, and this came up

"Audio Services not responding"
Both the Windows Audio and the Windows Audio End Point Builder services must be running for audio to work correctly. At least one of these services isn't responding.
I have did the restart Windows Audio with the services.msc. And nothing, please. I need help on this.

Did you restart your PC?

Also if it was working, and can hear yourself, then either the software not setup using the Mic, or the software has problems either need to be restarted, or reinstated.

Well, I have restarted the computer, about 2 or 3 times. Nothing. And the mic I have, It has like a monitor of some type where I can hear myself trough the headset.

Did you set the recording to listen in the Windows audio settings to hear yourself? If so then means the mic is being pick up for sound, the issue is the software app itself that not picking up your audio.

Maybe try this. Might help you out.

I do recommend grab your audio driver first from your manufacturer website, if this is a pre built system, look up the brand, and model of your device, and download the audio driver, if it's custom built desktop, look up the brand of your motherboard, and model of it, and download the audio driver.

When reinstalling drivers, if it has a checkbox for delete files for it when uninstalling, check the box, and then uninstall, restart PC, now install your audio, once finish, restart, and test.

Unless you're using AMD HDMI to carry your audio.

Example using HDMI with monitor, and have Mic, and headset connect to the monitor, not the desktop, if that's the case then do this, unplug your Mic from the monitor, and plug it into the back of your desktop there's a pink jack with a mic icon, plug it into that, and test the Mic.

Well, I have my headset connected to the Tower of my computer. I had that ever since, but I really do not know why i'm having this issue now.

Ok, what kind of headset? Is this a USB, or jack headset? Do you use an adapter with it?

Try using the ports on the motherboard at the back of the tower instead of the front of the tower port.

It's a jack headset, it has an adapter. I use it in the front of the tower, my whole computer is a CyberpowerPC Brand
What kind of adapter? Is this a Logitech headset? Such as this one?

It's this
https://www.amazon.com/ONIKUMA-Controller-Driver%E3%80%91%E3%80%907-1-Sound%E3%80%91Over-Ear-Headphones/dp/B07MR31CZ2/ref=sr_1_9?crid=E9CWZLSSGXV&keywords=gaming+headset+onikuma&qid=1561076572&s=gateway&sprefix=gaming+headset+onik%2Caps%2C478&sr=8-9

The adapter is my headset brand. My headset i have currently, and the adapter is on the first page of the headset.
Oh, it's USB, and jack combo. Alright, well not exactly sure with this, I assume the USB is to power the lights on the headset? Or does it have some kind of control over your headset audio, and mic? If so then there should be a driver for that headset that be needed, either uninstall the driver for the headset, and replug it back in, or if it need 3rd party software to install, visit the website for it, and get the drivers for that headset.

The USB is for the lights, the jacks are for Audio and Microphone. And down the line, the little box, have control over Volume and Mute.
Alright, well I can only assume something wrong with the "Realtek(r) audio", so get the audo driver from the website the motherboard is made from, may it be gigabtye, msi, or etc, and if you need help finding your motherboard brand, and model, just ask, or use CPU-z and click on the validate button to the right bottom, and click the submit, your broswer will open, copy the whole link and paste it here in the discussion.
