i settled with it for now and use steamcmd (that works, even though i can't login), and hope it will work sometimes in the future when i need to login again

On Debian 9 Stretch now work or need upgrade server?
Guess Steamcmd doesn't support Deb 9 anymore. Or maybe some dependencies.
