It's still the same.
I'll wait until it's fully charged and try again.
Could it be that battery is bad, or analogs are bad?
And is there a way to fix it? I don't want to open it until I know that I can fix it, because it's real pain in the ass to put all the stuff back together after opening it.
on most battery replacement is fairly easy
replacing the pots/sticks is not easy but can be done with the proper tools
Why are you here then? Go get a refund or replacement.
They only give refunds if faulty product is returned within 24 hours since purchase.
Few years ago I bought headphones. When I came home I realised that left speaker is not working at all. I went back few days later to ask for a replacement. They said that they can't give me replacement and if headphones didn't worked, I should've returned them the same day I bought them.
I doubt they'll give me replacement for gamepad because I don't even have any proof of purchase.
I'll still try and see what they'll tell me.
This[canyon.eu] is official product page. It states that warranty term is 24 months, and you only need you product's serial number to validate the warranty. If those guys who sold you this refuse to follow the manufacturer's rules - call the shop owner, call the Canyon, call the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ police, I don't care, just make those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ realize they're technically breaking the law and it's better for them to stfu and give you a refund or a replacement.
No matter how it ends - I'd highly recommend sticking to official Sony products from now on. They're really serious about all that stuff, getting a license to sell Sony products is not that easy, and they will make sure shops like the one you've described will be ♥♥♥♥♥♥ sideways. That's pure Japanese service and the only true reflection of "client is always right" kind of dealing with things. Hell my British friend got her DS4 replaced for free despite the warranty period was over and it was totally her fault the thing got broken.
They said that they can't do anything if I don't give them bill (that paper that says what you've bought and when and price)
I showed them that webpage and that only serial number is required for warranty validation.
They said that it's maybe like that in other countries, but laws in Bosnia says that bill is required too.
And they have no way of verifying that I bought gamepad from them.
They said that I could've bought it from somewhere else and brought it there for complaint.
But the thing is, most of the stores don't give bill so they have to play less taxes.
If they don't put sold items through cash register, it's like they never sold it and they don't pay taxes for that.
Almost all stores do this whenever they can so country thinks that their income is much lower than the actual income.
So basically now I have gamepad, I don't have bill as proof of purchase because they haven't gave it to me when I bought gamepad, and I don't have proof that they haven't gave me the bill.
I'm stuck with malfunctioning gamepad that I paid a lot of money for and I can't return it to get replacement.
