Upgrade ASUS M32CD to a Mid-Tower gaming case?
So after recently getting a new GPU and having heating issues (still to be determined whether issue is with card or simply poor cooling in case), it got me wondering about whether I should just simply move over my entire setup into a new case. It should be mentioned that my current case isn't bad, only that I didn't install enough fans for decent cooling. I have a 120 mm fan on the side cover, but I didn't install 2 92 mm fans, one in the back and one in the front, which it has room for. I'm wondering then would I be better off moving my entire system into a new case?

I currently have at home an old Cooler Master mid-tower (I don't know its exact model) that I never bothered to use, but it has a metal mesh design, 3 slots for 120 mm fans, I think up to 4 slots for 80 mm fans, and 2 holes for liquid cooling. It also has a mesh on the top to exhaust heat from the top, sides, and out the back and I think front. I'm just wondering whether it's worth transferring the entire PC or simply getting more fans. This is the case I have (not my video, just a video showing my case model). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JP5tGUUiLp0

Problem with those ready-made PCs like that ASUS is that the motherboard holes or I/O shield may not always line up with other cases, sometimes they do and sometimes they dont if company uses some brand of motherboard that was specifically manufactured for only this line of product.
I would first try to put your sidepanel fan as intake and add 92mm fan into back as exhaust.
Exhausting only through PSU is really not enough and sidepanel exhaust is not that effective because warm air tends to collect up near the CPU so back and top are best for exhaust.

oems lke to use a custom mobo btx layout, or do not have removable rear io panels

you will alos need to find out the front panel header pinouts (hdd/power leds and power/reset buttons) to use it in another case if the mobo is atx layout

the board can live without the rear io shield, but you will need to be careful when plugging in usb/lan/audio ect.. connectors

Right. Well, I decided to stick in a 80 mm fan (from a VERY old computer case, back from 2000) for now. Might get two new 92 mm fans though and replace the 80 mm one. The old fan isn't actually half bad. It's an Antec, with a blue RGB light on it and a fan control module on the cable. Shame it's old, small, and only held on by one screw. I am curious however, whether if my new GPU (Gigabyte RTX 2060 Super) which reaches 83 C in 5 minutes into a game, will be cooled down better with the fans, or whether it's a thermal paste problem. The fans I'm going to install either way.

Btw, for Teh Spoopy Kitteh, did you manage to transfer your ATX motherboard from the ASUS M32CD case or is yours custom built from the ground up?

Mine was a custom from the ground up. I will have to send you my parts list. The standoffs should be the same regardless for a mid-tower ATX.
