How to set up the games to use pressure sensitive R2 and L2 buttons?
On PS4 in GTA 5 for example, car speed depends on how much you press R2 button.
I can't make that work in any of the PC games.
Some games Like Mortal Kombat 11 recognize R2 being pressed immediately and character starts blocking.
And some games like GTA 5 won't recognize button being pressed until I press it all the way down.
This sucks because gamepad have pressure sensitive buttons, but games only recognize them as pressed or not pressed.
And it's annoying when shooting in GTA because I have to press the button all the way down to aim and to shoot. I'd rather if I could make it so those stuff can be done when button is pressed about half the way down.

Is there a way to set up games to recognize pressure (via built in steam controller configuration, or somehow)?

after doing a little digging regarding PC versions of games that support PS4 controllers 2 things came up.

1: the developer may not have included pressure sensitive support
2: the developer may not have included pressure sensitive support for the ps4 controller.

you could try using this program[ds4windows.com]

It works in GTA V with the Steam Controller. Make sure Trigger Analog Output is set to Right Trigger.

r2+l2 work as a combined axis
in the game you will need to bind them as axis not buttons
r2 = z-, l2 = z+

It works as it should in games like gtav using Xbox and PS controllers. Like I've said before don't use these no name generics on pc, it rarely works out well. Just buy one that works, period, no fuss, done.
