laptop rtx 2060 vs gtx 1070

hi which laptop to choose between a rtx 2060 and gtx 1070 knowing that they have almost the same configuration on other materials

What about cpu and storage? The 2060 is a bit faster, but has less vram, that's not really a big deal though.

If all else is equal, the 2060 is the better option, unless the 1070 has much better storage and a notably faster cpu.

I guess it would depend on the price and the other trimmings on the laptop. If all other things were equal I'd prob go for the 2060 since it has those fancy new RTX and Tensor cores. Although I personally don't think the performance hit for ray tracing is worth it, but at least you'd have it.

1070 has more VRAM but the 2060 has 6GB which should be plenty for the next couple years.
