Like the two replies above said, it depends on what your current specs are and your budget. As a whole, yes its worth it. If you're upgrading from a 1060 3gb or lower - definitely. I wouldn't upgrade from a 1070 or higher as the they're still a £400 GPU with only 28% better performance than a 1070 (which is still a decent jump but the 1070 is still a capable card).

there are zillions of reviews and I am sure you've read them or even watched them if you want to watch some geek wax poetically about computers. i'm here to tell you that you just want to game so screw that noise and buy the card and you'll be happy you did because you did all the research, envy the geek you watched, and just want us to say yes.

if not then it is my solemn duty to inform you that you need to read reviews and maybe watch some geek review it on youtube so he can make ad revenue, then come here a second time and ask again.

OP won't find a 1080 ti for the same price as a 2060 super. If hes getting a 1080 Ti he may aswell get an RTX 2080.

At $399 the 5700 XT beats it in most games. But it has a much worse cooler than the 2060 Super. I would wait for the aftermarket 5700 XT cards to be released before buying.

Or spend more and go up to the 2070 Super.

If your aim is 1080p 144 Hz or 1440p 60 Hz gaming then sure it`s worth it. For 1440p 144 Hz I would look into RTX 2070 Super, 2080, 2080 Super instead and for 4K the RTX 2080 Super or better yet RTX 2080 Ti.
