B450 vs X470

what's the differences between these motherboards? ik the X470 has sli and crossfire compatibilities but what else?

i'm only saying because i bought the b450 recently for $10 more than the x470 (it's on sale right now and i'm pretty mad)

If you're into overclocking get the X470. Otherwise the B450 is fine. Don't forget to work out what features you need before buying a motherboard from either chipset.

An x470 is not needed for overclocking, as you can see in the chart most really dont have much better VRMs than the b450 boards.

I lookied into it and specifically went for the best price for the features I needed. So got the MSI b450 tomahawk. It is actually better in terms of the VRM & cooling that a lot of the x470 boards. So better overclocking potential & future CPU upgrades.
