check windows sound settings
set them to the monitors speakers (using the connected gpus amd/nvidia/intel sound driver)
and check the monitors volume setting

what video cable are you using (hdmi, dvi, display port, or vga/d-sub) ?

If checking windows setings doesn't work - sound might not be supported by the connection type that you are using, or a separate cable is required for sound. Refer the manual's setup pages.

Only HDMI and DP can transport audio signals. If you aren't using either one of these, there is no sound.

Some monitors don't support sound over hdmi, just in case you think that getting one will definitely work. Hdmi supports sound, but the monitor has to as well.
