psu for rx 580 or better
Another discussion :D im sorry, amazon sales is super near (15-16 july) so i want the final answers before buying my first parts for a mid range pc build, so i want to start from a gpu in this case a rx 580 8gb sapphire, now the problem.. i have a tecnoware 500w psu (is capable to run this beast of gpu) but i have only a 4 pin cable, before i was thinking to buy an attachment for a 8 pin to put into the gpu but i think 🤔 is time to buy also a new psu, any suggestion? on amazon i see a 650w 80+ psu (vs650) from corsair for about 50/60 Euro, also i have a VGA monitor, so i need also a vga to hdm support i think.

Corsair VS series are trash. Look for Seasonic S12II 520W or Seasonic S12III 550W.
You should really swap out your monitor to 1080p HDMI or DP. VGA is ancient analog connection not digital and pairing it with RX 580 is not gone get you decent image quality in games.
You need most likely an active VGA to HDMI cable. HDMI is digital while VGA is an analog signal. So using adapters is a hit or miss and not guaranteed to work.
Using a passive adapter has the lowest chance of working as you need active support for it.

GPU's need a 6+2 Pin cable. Never a 4 Pin cable which is either for the motherboard or in your case most likely a Molex cable.

As mentioned above, Corsair VS-Series are absolutely garbage. There only few PSU's that are worse qualitywise.
For budget you really should Take either:
SeaSonic S12II 520W or 620W
SeaSonic M12II 520 or 620W
SeaSonic S12III 550 or 650W

If you want a quality PSU:
EVGA SuperNova G2
EVGA SuperNova G3
SeaSonic Focus Gold or Focus Plus Gold
All either as 550 or 650W.

Even though RX 580 has somehow a kinda high power draw for its performance, it is far away from being a beast. It "merely" middle class while it starts to drop into low end. However you need a cable with 2x 6+2Pins which are called PCI-E.
i know vga to hdmi adapters kinda sux but i can't afford for now a new monitor so i need this adaptor until i get a new monitor, well i can buy it but at the end i will don't have money for other things during the month :D, for me it's a beast this gpu (compared to my trusty 750 ti)
i will check those psu and prices now hoping they fit my case (this gpu wont fit unless i moove some cables and the ssd, it will enter a bit in the hdd big box

Edit : the SeaSonic S12II seems good for all the reviews find on amazon and it's 59 euro
I also find this monitor https://www.amazon.it/dp/B01BCF09R0/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_twViDbZRK1WXW

oh i liked the idea of 27" :(, but it say max resolution are 1080p so it should be clear to see with 1080p (?)
those two are cool too and kinda cheap, but better than my benq something 59 hz 21" (only vga)
(i also watch films so i looked the 27" for that reason too)

The pixel size of 27" 1080p is bigger then 23-24" 1080p. Some people are ok with it and for some it feels too grainy.
mh so why they sell it with a max resolution of 1080p if this monitor is more for a 1440p?

This monitor is not for 1440p, the size of 27" screen looks better for 1440p monitors that have smaller pixel size.
1080p genrally look best at 23-24" size and 1440p at 27-28" size screens. 4K monitors can be even bigger.
RX 580 cant really run higher resolutions then 1080p well though.

Cost

However the pixeldesity is lower but still fine for me personally.
If you buy through Amazon you can return the product if you dislike for free anyway. Not to bad to test it out.
mh then ill try this out i've played with this 750 ti on a 40"+ tv and was not that bad
There is a competitive advantage to larger screens with lower res (27”@1080) since you will be able to detect pixel changes more easily, but the cost will be quality and as mentioned aliasing will be more noticeable.

If you are not competitive and want better visual clarity a 24” 1080p will be quite an upgrade over your old 21” vga kit and as mentioned a perfect fit for your 580, I don’t think you will be disappointed.

I upgraded my 8yo Acer 24” TN panel monitor with a 144hz 24” curved VA monitor, it is a world of difference and could not be happier with it. Worth checking out, I was sold once I saw it running on display next to the others.

Really wanted a 27” 1440/144hz but they were near $400 for the ones I wanted and my 1070ti would have struggled a bit, very glad I went with the 24” 1080 it performs very well.
can you link me your monitor or just the name? is 24" noticeable bigger than a 21?i really dont understand inches and such, the first time i literally misured a tv using my finger hahah

If all u have is VGA Display, buy an Active DP male to VGA female adapter

As for PSU I'd recommend a good 80+ Gold Certified 650W minimum
cool hope this one gets a discount and if all this pieces togheter are 300/350 il buy all of them in block :D
