My laptop is overheating

Hello, I have a problem... since 3 month
My laptop is overheating when I playing any game
CPU reach 70:75
GPU reach 90 !!
I am using a cooler
and in a normal status
CPU reach 40:45
GPU reach 40:45
My laptop is: Dell XPS 15 9550
BIOS: 1.10.0 (type: UEFI)
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.6GHz
Graphic card: Nvidia GTX960m 2GB
RAM: 16 GB( DDR4 )
DirectX Version: DirectX 12
My fps is bad pls help me...

those temps are normal. just keep the fans clear and its fine. if you dont like high temp then build a desktop

the problem is FPS :D u know more heat make card lag as ♥♥♥♥

if you rest your laptop on your bed when using it the bedsheets can block the airways, raised cooling laptop mat would be handy, i have a raised laptop mat with usb cables that plug into the pc and then activate a cooling fan under the mat. could help to get one of those type things.

other than that, yeah dust, some people say go over it with a hoover or something to get dust out lol others say the hoover could cause damage. but many people do that.

You do not have a lot of options to make it run any better unless you are willing to just try to replace the parts or build a desktop yourself. You are trying to push that hardware to the limit with certain games im guessing? thus why it is running worse at times. There's only so much a laptop can do and honestly i've never considered them great for gaming. Even the most expensive ones struggle to keep the heat under control. Time to upgrade, my friend.

my laptop is low spec too, had it for like 3 to 5 years now, my screens screws melted off and lots of plastic bits melted of it and the screen is hanging off barely holding up somehow without any support as the hinges too have melted apart and the casing is buckled, my laptops in a right state but im still using it now haha im surprised this thing works tbh lol
