If this one really packs several drivers per ear, then it obviously has limited space for each compared to the 1-driver design.
The common wisdom stands, if you want quality sound, get actual headphones made for that and add a mic. headsets are made for different aim.
The 7.1 surround is virtual through software and unless you are listening to games/movies that offer good surround sound, it would sound better left on Stereo mode
Try enabling loudness equalization
And it's not hdmi, it's usb
All of those headset sux that u listed.
Buy a quality stereo headset and a seperate mic. All headset have crappy mic
Yea I agree, all of these headsets are crap but for people wanting to get all in one I think its better to go after one of those. I own Sony 2.0 headphones which I use for my Djing too and they have really nice sound.
USB is at the end of US audio station, but the headphones themself connect via HDMI to the station. So if for any reason USB station dies you are its limited to hdmi.
Yes I already tried with Loudness equalization ,but all it does it bumps low sound up, instead reducing the sounds that are suddenly too loud.
I would just return the headset system and use a high quality 3.5mm headphones and usb dac+amp
I already own a pair of decent 2.0 headphones, but I dont have a mic. I thought that this might be good investment since some reviewers stated that some of these headsets are even good for audiophiles (and I am far away from being one). Also I didnt encounter any negative review when comparing them so I was like oh well we came to the point when they made these things to perfection..damn i was wrong.
But for music and stereo sound games I'll twitch to stereo headphones or to sound system.
So far haven't found one solution, which would have it all in one.
The only pain is the lapel mic, ZM-Mic1 that I have to detach and reattach when I switch... considering a monitor-mount mic like the Samson go mic when I get really fed up with it lol
