Yes, but it will need a BIOS update.
B450, and X470 boards should all get updates, but as for B350 and X370 boards, it depends on if the board maker wants to.
But, I would pick an X470 board with a pretty decent VRM if you're going the Ryzen 3000 route later on. 6c CPUs will be fine on some weaker ones, but if you want to get 12/16c ones, I suggest a stronger VRM. (And obviously VRM heatsink/s)
Yes, so long as you have a Ryzen 2000 series CPU, you can get the BIOS update.
(Or, if your Motherboard allows for it, you can do a BIOS update without a CPU installed.)

Once the newer cpus are available for purchase along with at least some X570 boards, this should help lower prices of Ryzen 2xxx series and B450/X470
Just keep an eye on it.
Ya you should be fine hopefully you got at least 3000mhz ram at cl15 or lower.
