overclocking
i want to safely overclock my system. Spec is ryzen 5 2500u, rx560x, 8gb ram. How many gigahertz i should go?

Motherboard?

Edit: Just saw it's a laptop, wouldn't recommend OCing a laptop.

No, it would likely overheat. I would undervolt the CPU with ThrottleStop instead.

Helps to elevate a gaming laptop, but the fans of a laptop cooler don't exactly help as much as you'd think

It actually work ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I increase the clock speed of my gpu by 80. I’m actually getting a stable performance :D

Watch temps with HW Monitor. And you're likely getting a negligible FPS gain.

Watch temps with HW Monitor. And you're likely getting a negligible FPS gain.
So far, it’s going alright. Also, I’m closing down my laptop for more accurate result. Been 80-90 degree Fahrenheit for 10 mins. No sign of increasing by much. I have coolboost on, btw.

Is that bad? It’s usually low 80 when it’s not under heavy load.
