Best combo CPU/GPU for 1440p 144hz gaming 2019

Hello guys and girls. I'm thinking of building new PC. Actually i want your opinion only for GPU and CPU. So my situation: i want to buy 2k (1440p) 144hz monitor (maybe msi optix or something like that) but the thing is i don't know what CPU and GPU I'm going to need for that kind of experience. For now I'm thinking of buying probably Ryzen 3700x and maybe 5700xt. Is that gonna be enough? Let's say i want to play games like COD MW 2019, AC odyssey... So yeah i need your opinion. Thank you :)

And just to make sure. Lets say if i buy 3600/x and rtx 2080 is that gonna be enough to play on ultra/high settings games like AC Odyssey, Far cry, COD, BF 5... on at least 120 fps, because i want 1440p 144hz monitor?

3600/X and a 2080 Super will be fine at 1440p 144Hz. But don't expect to consistently reach 120+ in every game with maxed settings, because the 2080 Ti can barely do that, and it's ~30% better.
