What can you say about and Intel i5 750 (1st gen) 2.67 GHz processor put together with a NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti 4GB GDDR5?

if you are not psu limited get a rx 570 4gb instead of gtx 1050 ti...

cpu seems to be somewhat ok for 1080p gaming...

depends on the psu
rx570 is stronger, but needs twice the power (150w vs 75w)

stock or oem 350w psu is more than enough for the 1050ti
450+w for rx 570 with atlest 1 6/6+2 pci-e power connector

How about with 600W PSU?

Exactly like it would be for 1440p and 2160p gaming. Resolution doesn't anyhow affect CPU's workload.

There's zero reasons to buy that CPU anymore. Even on a budget there are better options.

Well while he didn't explicitly say that he had it, he does seem to be asking about a GPU upgrade for an existing system he has.

first gen i5 is old, but still capable with older games
the i5 7xx is a quad core, as fast as fx 6-8
