Nvidia Geforce Experience installer failed [solved]
Screenshot: https://prnt.sc/oy85km
The program of Geforce Experience itself stopped working about five days ago (said "installer failed" every time I tried to open it, e.g. something went wrong with its newest update), i thought it might fix itself upon next reboot (I barely ever reboot my pc, at most times it's put to sleep).
Rebooting didnt help.
Uninstalled Geforce Experience, downloaded v3.20.0.105 (the latest one). Still, "installer failed".
Uninstalled all Nvidia stuff with DDU, it wiped out all Nvidia traces from the system.
There is no Nvidia in Task manager;
no Nvidia in the Services;
no Nvidia in the Registry;
no Nvidia folders anywhere;
on top of that, all antivirus activities are turned off.
But Geforce Experience STILL fails to install.

"Nvidia Update Core Failed"
"Nvidia Geforce Experience Not Installed"
Everything else (drivers) works like a charm.
I didnt change anything about my pc recently, it's same hardware for years, GE worked properly just before a few days back.
I also tried downloading and installing older versions of GE, but they gimme same error.

Have you tried doing a "custom" installation with doing a clean installation of the installer? It could also be conflict between Windows trying to update its own drivers while you're also doing it at the same time. Check if there are any updates for Windows.

Wipe out all the current nvidia installs via the uninstall method, control panel, programs and features. Reboot as needed then download and install the driver package which includes gfe.

Did as you prompted, wiped everything out with DDU again, downloaded from your link, installed
"Nvidia Update Core Failed"
"Nvidia Geforce Experience Not Installed"

Stop the Nvidia Services to delete some of the files, you can do that in the Task Manager .

?? Did you even read my first message? I did so many things already, it is not helpful if you ignore my descriptions. There is no point in suggesting anything i described above, since it already has been tried, and didnt help.
The only other thing I can think of you doing is reinstalling the OS.

Thats unfortunate, OS reinstallation is the last resort measure for me... Well, thanks for suggesting anyways. Any more ideas? Maybe somebody experienced the same issue and has been able to fix it without the whole OS messup?

Thank you, sir/mam! Today I restarted my pc about ten times and thought that if there were any Win updates pending, they surely got handled in process. Windows itself told me nothing about a huge update it withheld.
So the solution is: Windows Settings - Update and Security - manually launch whatever pending update you have there.

Well alrighty then! Glad to know a novice tech lizard like myself was able to help! :D Honestly though Google is amazing with what you can troubleshoot.

Huh, "make sure your Windows is up to date" was amongst most basic suggestions i googled myself as well, but was too arrogant to presume my Windows isnt up-to-date.

exactly its always the most simple thing and as humans we seem to complicate it even more haha
But Windows had an update and they were keeping it from OP until OP had to beat Windows with a stick by manually updating any pending update it had. Windows is like a spoiled child, it needs CORPORAL PUNISHMENT!!!
