Second monitor not working
So I'm currently running a 1080ti with an ASUS PRIME B350-PLUS motherboard.

My second monitor is connected with a VGA port while my main is connected with a dual link

Both monitors have to be connected to the GPU. And I doubt you have a 1080 ti with VGA, nothing uses VGA anymore. Connecting the monitor to the motherboard will not work since you most likely have a CPU and not an APU. .

If you're using the VGA from the motherboard, that's why, because you can't use both the iGPU and the 1080 Ti at the same time like that with AMD CPUs. And there's no 1080 Ti with a VGA, so my assumption has to be correct.

There's also no on-board graphics without a 2200G/3200G or 2400G/3400G.

The only way I could get two monitors to work (one being VGA using a VGA-DVI adapter) was to plug it into the motherboard and change a setting in BIOS so I could use both onboard graphics and the GPU.

OP's PC most likely doesn't have on-board graphics. If he does he should really consider a CPU upgrade.

Oh OK. I had a quick look at the board and it has DVI and VGA... I haven't used AMD for years though.

B350 has no gpu and those ports do not work unless you have a Ryzen G series cpu with onboard graphics.

If you must use a vga display, buy a cable for this, it's called " active dp to vga adapter" dp side plugs to gpu, then connect monitor or tv via vga male to male cable
