Always best to run ram in dual channel. Pointless buying 1 stick of ram.

Never buy RAM for single-channel. Just put in an extra few bills for a 3000 MHz kit.

Depends on CPU.

Also is more vram giving more fps?

VRAM is not tied to FPS, it's just the amount of memory the GPU has. The more memory, the more things the GPU can do at once, similar to how normal system RAM works. (i.e. more/higher graphic settings)

No. If you have enough VRAM you won't get any extra FPS with more VRAM.

2400MHz RAM is rather slow, I know you don't want to spend the extra money but just get a two stick kit of 3000MHz RAM.

Modern Intel 8th amd 9th gen, and AMD Ryzen cpus should all be using 2666mhz ram, minimum.

Always use dual channel via 2 or 4 pieces of matching ram.

Only use ram above 2666 if your cpu is unlocked and the motherboard supports higher MHZ ram via XMP

true - but CPU dont have to be unlocked for using faster RAM. For Intel just the Motherboard needs to support overclocking or the use of XMP. Even locked CPU's can (not have to) profit from faster RAM.

I wouldn't go lower than 3000, even with Intel, because there is a noticeable gain. Even if you have a locked CPU, you still have upgrading potential to an unlocked if you decided to get a locked CPU and unlocked board for some reason.

not only that, XMP or manual RAM OC does not require CPU support in the first place.

For popular multiplayers games is 8gb enough

2x8 2400mhz and 2x8 3000mhz are about the same price
