For something cheap but still decent use:

TP-Link TL-WN881ND [ca.pcpartpicker.com]

If you want even father range (or if you upgrade your Internet speed to something like 1000Mbps later) then go with:

TP-Link Archer T6E AC1300 [ca.pcpartpicker.com]

or

Gigabyte GC-WB867D-I [ca.pcpartpicker.com]

I got the tp-link Archer T4e, and it works great for me. I had that WN881ND one but between that and my modem I was having a very bad connection. Adapter was probably fine but I changed it out anyways when I changed the modem just to be on the safe side. Been having a steady strong signal ever since.

I have a Gigabyte ab-350 gaming motherboard also and get like 90 mbps with this adapter. I'm like twenty to twenty five feet away from my router with one wall in between.

If you get a really slow signal on first try, keep re-positioning the antennaes and testing speeds until you find the sweet spot.
