Monitor not showing display after build
Motherboard: Asrock B450M-HDV R4.0
Processor: AMD Ryzen 2400G
RAM: 16 GB Crucial Ballistix Sport LT(CRUME-16GB_DDR4_3200)

So uh, as the title states, I've assembled the PC and my LED on/off light comes on aaand my fan spins, however my monitor's button light just blinks as if the computer is off, but I hear the PC booting up and as stated I see the CPU fan spinning, I've connected my monitor VGA cable to the VGA port of the motherboard, any ideas on what is the cause of the issue?

First problem I can find is that the kit of RAM you chose is not listed under QVL for that board, so there could be an incompatibility issue with your RAM that's preventing it from getting a POST.

When buying cheap boards, it's important to read the QVL lists; the max speed Crucial kit that's supported is a 3000 MHz kit (BLT8G4D30BET4K.C8FD) You might have to return your RAM and find another kit that's on the QVL.

Other than that, make sure you didn't leave anything unplugged.

I would never use crucial ram with Ryzen. Hynix or Samsung works best. Crucial is Micron.

Update it to latest bios and try again.

Does that board support flashing bios with no cpu installed?

Best bet for ram on ryzen is something like, Gskill TridentZ or GSkill FlareX

Cheap boards will never do 3200mhz ram
Use 3000mhz

It's B450, it supports the 2400G out of the box so he can still update BIOS, but it sounds like it's not even POSTing.
Yes it supports that cpu, my concern was that an updated bios may help with that ram

Otherwise u need to try other ram

Do a test outside the case, sit the board flat on the motherboard cardboard box and test with 1x ram

I doubt it, because it's Micron memory as you said, support for Micron is very spotty. For such a cheap board, I wouldn't ignore QVL, period
Qvl lists ONLY cover a few supported in the first bios release.

But yes, best bet is return that ram and not use micron or Crucial on Ryzen

Does anybody have any suggestion on which RAM should I buy? Such as a link or something, I'd like to have 16gb of tam though not 8gb
Pcpartpicker.com

I suggested good ram choices above.

also any time you install new ram, or the board is new. Power it on for a good 90 secs or so as it may need time to detect ram and all through uefi for the first time. And even if a board is new, doesn't matter, always reset the cmos

Thank you very much!
Do you have a dedicated GPU installed? Just checking to make sure.

I do not.
I don't think ram is the issue, but who knows. Clear cmos/reset bios, unplug psu for a minute, check monitir input. I have a b350 wuth 16gb of ballistix memory. Never was an issue, although it isn't 3200.

I have just plugged in my old PC components in my case, mobo, CPU, ram... And my PC's monitor still shows no display!
That indicates that either some part is wrongly assembled, or something, like the PSU, is defective.

What were the other parts?. You kept the psu in there or changed that too?. Most important thing I think is like I said, reset bios and clear cmos especially after a change of base parts. What were the other parts?.
