But overall what's the problem?
As its not overheating
I bought the system from IbuyPower. It's a smaller case but it's still a mid. Very open. All GPU fans are running well. At 80 degrees, the fans are at about 75 percent.
Rooms temp is nice and cool, around 70. When I open the case, I can get it to drop around 78.
I just thought 80-85 is really hot for games that aren't even that intensive. GTA 5 will get up to 85 and screen tearing is present.
Running 1440P at 144hz, but again, the card has benchmarks that breeze through max GTA settings.
I've not seen the card higher than 74, on anything.
There's so many variables.
>Case
>Fans
>Ambient temp
>Fan curve
Plus, idle temps don't matter much, so long as they're not stupidly high (like 70+c)
Edit ; and the fact that it's a different card.
See if you can throw some extra case fans in there.
Though what I can tell you is that if you overclocked it, tone down the OC or reset the clock. If you didn't touch the clocks RMA the computer.
Some places are very humid. Asian countries like India, China can get very hot and humid which can be solved by air conditioners though js dangerous for electronics due to condensation
Also, It appears the temps are significantly better once the case is open. It's not breathing inside the case at all. I believe if I added a high RPM fan on the top, it would help push the air out.
Also it seems most of the heat is resonating right above the GPU, inbetween the liquid cool fan for the CPU. Think that's why the CPU temp is also increasing?
Witcher 3, maxed out, 1440P G-sync, the GPU was a steady 73. CPU got as high as 84 max. But average was in the low 70's.

Here's a better picture to see what I'm dealing with.

If i make any changes in Asus GPU tweak to the video card. Even something minor like changing the fan speed 1%; the card LED lights freak the hell out. They start rapidly flashing like crazy.
Thats what leads me to believe the card is defective.
The PC is built VERY well, I cannot see anything physically wrong with the build at all.
I reccomend just sending back the PC anyways. Fans may be defective or they set a custom fan curve to reduce noise.
Ibuypower did an excellent job on the PC build. Though you should have just sent the whole PC back, less hassle imo
