Poor Performance With GTX960
I just bought MSI GTX960 2GB Armor for a really cheap price and on some games it performed poorly.

This is my full pc specs

Phenom 2 x6 1055t 2.80GHz
8GB Ram
GTX 960 2GB / R7 260x 2GB
256 GB SSD - 1 TB HDD
Windows 10 Pro

Rainbow Six Siege (High Setting 1080p) i get like 15-20 fps when there's stuff going on and 50-70 when nothing is happening.

Kurtzpel (Very High 1080p) 30-50 fps

PUBG (Medium Preset 1080p) 30-48 fps

Dying Light (High Settings 1600x900) 15 fps

GTA 5 (High Settings 1080p) 40-60

Minecraft (Fancy Settings) 60 fps

Yeah that is a little strange. Did you fully wipe the amd drivers etc?

Rainbow Six Siege with my r7 260x i get 30-50 fps everytime and dying light 30-40 fps
soudn about right and in some games you get more fps then I expect as you're CPU limited
To be honest it sounds about right. Dying light seems a little low but gta, PUBG and rainbow 6 seems normal for that card at those settings

havy CPU bottleneck that hold the GPU back. It tries to render more frames as it has more capabilities but the CPU cant keep up and feed the GPU with enough data fast enough. thats why you also get more drops then with a lower GPU that will not constantly have to wait for the CPU.

im aware of the bottlenecking but my system shows that whenever i play a game gpu and cpu is usually at 70-100%

oh yeah i havent delete my amd drivers yet.
Thinking about it bottlenecking does sound probable with the sudden drops when there’s action on screen

I've fully wiped out the amd drivers with DDU and now the gpu is running fine ! Thanks
