Mic isn't picking up my voice after installing Voicemod

So the dealio, I wanted to use Voicemod to just play some dank beats on SCPSL and sometimes in CSGO. I did, or so I thought I did the imput/output correctly; from the fact I can hear my voice in Voicemod and in Discord but I'm unable to on Steam. Therefore I can't talk on the mic.

It's most definitely on me since I may have f'd up and I can't figure out how to fix it, I even uninstall and reinstall some drivers and still nothing--.

I need guidance, can you fine folks kindly help me out here?

Steam relies on which ever speakers and mic is set as the default under Windows Playback/Recording
