u can still figure out someone’s location with a public or private ip
Learn the difference. Or I can lend you a shovel to dig your hole a little deeper.

192.168.x.x is a private IP range used by millions of devices in homes, offices and factories. It's useless to anyone. If you're at the point you need it, you're already on the network and able to get it in a million different ways.

There's no normally. I've worked in IT for years. I've seen countless brands and models. I'd say about 60% of them use either 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1. I know all the fibre optics/DSL modems from one of our countries major providers uses 192.168.2.254, possibly to avoid conflicts with a ton of other stuff. The major cable company uses 192.168.178.1 on theirs.

Please locate me by my private IP.
192.168.178.21

192.168.178.1

Really looking forward hearing from you where i'm located.

That's why you need to learn the difference, because those are their private IP addresses on the local network.

1 IP is the IP of your router/internal network
Public IP is what identifies you on the Internet

The Internal IP of your router depends on the router and the ISP that provides it

192.168.1.1 is for my Router/Modem while 192.168.1.2 is for my extender as thats the IP i chose for it but initially it was 192.168.1.254 or something similar.

So yeah, it varies.

Oh, and its normal for the page to say it isnt secure, its up to your ISP to secure that page via a firmware update.

Maybe you should learn the difference between public and private IPs.
Here, read this:

Maybe then you'll know why posting private IP addresses on the internet is rather harmless.
