Just get a pack of them on amazon
I didn't even think of searching on them. well this was a quick solution.
Just make sure it they are not lost in the case somewhere, they conduct electricity and can short circuit
I think i never actually opened the bag they were in. I just threw the bag in the garbage because at that time i didn't notice any difference with them and the normal screws and standoffs. Biggest mistake of my PC building life.
My M2 doesnt even had any screws and none of I had in my PC repair pack fitted. Took out the tiny ones from my ancient Maxtor 20GB HDD and that fitted perfectly.
How do u lose the stand off though? Those are pre-installed in all motherboards and u have zero need to remove that. All that should be a loose part you need to secure your m2 ssd is the tiny screw for it.
Yeah, i don't think it came pre-installed on mine though.
At the time i got the motherboard i weren't as experienced with computers and didn't think of it to much. Now that i have experienced the hell of losing track of small things like important screws and standoffs i'll probably not pull it off again.
Keep everything from all your parts in one box at the end of each build in case you need something later. Same for psu modular cables, keep set aside in safe place for later and keep it with something so u know which psu those cables go to.

Is there any specific dimensions and such that i should look for when i'm buying the new M.2 screws and standoffs?
