Gaming mouse software not detecting the mouse
Hey there fellow gamers!

I bought budget gaming mouse of not very popular brand. It's Inphic P-G2. After few days I got the mouse, plugged it in - and it works on default settings. I installed the dedicated software and when I try to change DPI, RGB colors etc... - it says "Device is disconnected". Why?

And now few informations:
- I Lenovo Y700-15ISK laptop with Windows 10 x64
- The mouse is detected as mouse & keyboard simultaneously. I tried uninstalling every HID driver connected to it, updating them, turning off part of them etc. - nothing makes the software detect the mouse.
- The same situation with the device is on every available USB port.
- Tried reinstalling the software, running it as administrator or in compatibility mode with different Windows versions - nothing.
- When I plug out the mouse software pops up with information that "Device is disconnected" - so it knows that IT WAS connected.

How to make that software works? Buying other mouse etc. is not a solution for me - can't afford it. Ask me anything if any details are needed!

What has Inphic support told you?

Could be a defective mouse possibly, in which case Inphic can help troubleshoot that.

As I said in the first post - I'm looking for a solution, not alternative :P

It is probably only seeing the TouchPad. Set the TouchPad driver software to... Disable TouchPad whenever mouse is plugged in. Once enabled now launch the the other mouse software. Then plug in the mouse.

Dont mess with device manager, there is no need to do anything in there for problems like this.

It might be the problem, however I can't disable touchpad drivers. There is only uninstall option (which I believe might not be the best idea because I'm often using laptop for working without mouse :P) any ideas how to disable it without uninstalling?

No, u open the TouchPad software, it should be running in notification area. Within this is settings for the touchpad, along with a "disable when mouse is connected" option to toggle.

I don't have option like this in any touchpad settings

Then u need to install the TouchPad software and configure it first or the TouchPad will always be enabled and be in your way. Go to lenovo support page, select the laptop full model and get it from the software/drivers download section.

Got the latest and still can't see that option. Idk why because I see that many other synaptic touchpad devices have it o.O

In my free time I'll try to completely remove the touchpad drivers and only navigate with external mouse just to recognise if it's that kind of problem! - will report here later
