Ryzen 3 1200 bad?

I keep seeing benchmarks that say that this cpu is actually bad for gaming. Is it not at least as good as last gen intel? I was thinking about buying this

Upgrade gpu and add a SSDwhen you have money.
The system is good and futureproof.

i3 8100 has Ryzen 1600 performance level in games. Ryzen 1200 is slightly slower than Pentium G4560. You can check that, for instance, at tom's hardware if you wish.

G4560 is good only with low demanding games like CS:GO and DOOM 4.
I recommend a 8400 as minimum, only with e-sport games i3 or 1200.

Why you link a GTX 1050Ti benchmark running various games and two processors in a thread asking about processors? Clearly those games and that low end graphics card made a terribly choice for CPU benchmarking.
