rx 580/590 vs rx 5500
so i write yesterday about this, and by looking more into it i found their stats, but im unaware of their real meanings...

(i have a sapphire nitro + amd 50y gold edition, slightly more oced than the normal nitro)

What do you guys think? those new cards ( a part the lower power consumption that i don't really care) are faster than a rx580/590??
Just by looking at those charts.. the new onese seems slower than the 590..ill wait to see videos about them too.

It will be basically RX 580 with smaller power consumption and I really doubt it will cost any less then RX 580.

I hope so, i don't want them to surpass my rx 590 for a cheaper price.. . 😂

RX 590 is most pointless card out there, it`s nothing else but overclocked RX 580.

Well from what i see on youtube, an rx 580 oced to the max still can't perform like the 590, the last one stock still give around 15 to 20 fps more and can run almost every game in 1440p 60 fps without any effort unless the 580 strugle to do so at 50/60fps, the price difference here were 30 euro more for the 90(i had buy the golden one because the normal won't fit my case) ,pretty much worth it in my opinion, the other option i had were a 1660 ti but they are expansive, 300 euro+

Contrary to your beliefs the rx590 is not a 1440p card and 15-20 fps higher than an rx580 is pretty much fiction.

Well i can use it for 1440p right now with stableish 60 or more fps even with my weak cpu soon replaceing with a ryzen 5 3600.. but still im playing in 1080p , and i prefer to see real benchmarks rather than slides easily photoshopable...
And im saying the rx590 can play 1440p 60 fps not some crazy numbers, you don't need them to play with such resolution.. heck i even do 30/40 fps on borderlands 3 in rk res same on more heavier games like ark..

RX 5500 would be amazing if they sold it for $125 for instance, this would really help to boost budget gamer market but I really doubt it will happen.

Maybe they will put them at around 150euro or close to it to make a quick cash then settle the price lower maybe

RX 5500XT should be ~$149 for 4Gb and $179 for 8Gb and be ~RX590 performance.
The 24CU version (RX 5600?) should be $200-$229 and perform between a GTX1660 and GTX1660Ti.

A 32CU version of Navi 10 (RX 5600XT?) should perform around a Vega 56 and be priced at $249-$279.

On my taste: the rx 5500 will be card on 100-150 € like previous generation on rx 550.

rx 550 vs rx 580

At the moment, i would grab rx 590,
gtx 1660 ti, or just the rx 5700.

Remember, you can still lower graphic settings to get your right fps cap.
