after that i again reinstalled w10 but then a older version 1809, and now the surround sound works like before.
OP, go into your settings, search restore and click the one that says revert to a previous update, then see if that made any difference.
Because this guy got it back in 1809, i suggest going to 1809.
you have to google on how to get this version of windows because it takes some tricks to do
mayby try to fix it first, reinstalling windows is more like a last resort
Having both enabled will cause “over processing” the virtual surround and will cause issues as you describe.

do you mean the tabs in top of google chrome? like kennys said, if you sign in and after reinstalling sign in again they wil be there again also counts for your extensions.
just make sure enable synchronization or something
