RX 5700 XT vs RTX 2060 Super
Im wanting to get a new graphics card pretty soon and have been looking at the 5700 xt and the 2060 super since they are around the same price. I play games at 1080p on a 144hz monitor so I feel something like the 2070 super would be overkill since people recommend it for 1440p gaming. I currently have an RX 580 and it does pretty well with the games that I play, but doesnt quite take advantage of the higher refresh rate in the more demanding games. I play Overwatch, The Witcher 3 and Monster Hunter World currently, and I will be playing Modern Warfare and Cyberpunk 2077 when they come out.
I know the RTX has ray tracing, and while I think that is cool, I do not see it as something that I just have to have, especially since it is on the lower end compared to the 2080 super. I also know that the thermals on the reference version of the 5700 XT are terrible so I will have to get an AIBn

The 5700 XT is comparable in performance to the 2070 Super.

they are close in performance and tdp

if the 5700xt is cheaper, go with that

both are around 220w, make sure you have a 600+w psu with atleast 3 pci-e 6/6+2 power connectors

You will never need to worry about going above stock fan on gpu's unless you plan on overclocking them really or if a bit of noise is an issue.

Also you should get 3rd party gpu's in most cases as they will have better cooling.

Look for a cheaper RX 5700XT, preferably one with good third party cooler, perhaps the Sapphire Pulse, PowerColor Red Dragon, etc. The reference cooler design is okay'ish if you don't plan to OC, and can tolerate the noise from the fan when it revs up during games. What PSU do you have anyway?
