SteelSeries Siberia 800
I was just wondering if anyone has used this headset, and how good is the 7.1 surround? I like the surround on my Corsair Void headset but want to change headphones. I tried the HyperX Cloud 2 because apparently they had good 7.1 but in my opinion it was absolutely terrible. Turning on the surround sound just made it slightly louder and the directional sound wasn't very accurate. I just want to know if the Siberia 800 has good 7.1, bass etc?

It's marketing male cow excrement.
Get a good Stereo headset and use virtual surround. Beats any real surround headset. They all have issues with locational sound in games. With virtual surround you have not only better sound quality due to bigger and better speakers, but also more precise surround sound which you can calibrate to your liking.

Well my Corsair Void headset has great surround and I can hear what direction people are coming from in Rainbow 6 Siege really well

i had this headset, returned it the same day, the drivers/speakers touch your ears and the mic quality is really bad, and if it was cheap oke, but its NOT cheap

I don't really mind about the mic quality but is the sound quality good?

i dont really remember but the fact that the speakers where like pushing into my ears made me return it very quickly

99% of "gaming headphones" have bad sound quality for the price. Just buy a pair of regular headphones.

i have to say my g430 is really good, that after my first one broke i bought the same one again

I have a Logitech G Pro X, very fine Stereo headset and offers amazing sound for its price. Also, no RGB nonsense.
