Why do my games alt tab?
When I move my cursor to my second monitor from a game open on my main monitor the game alt tabs. This is incredibly inconvenient as the whole point of me wanting free movement between two monitors is because alt tabbing is time consuming and inconvenient. Is there a way I can move my cursor to my second monitor while my game remains open on my primary monitor without alt tabbing?

Try running your games in borderless window and not full screen.

I believe that what Omega has said is going to prove to be the only effective way to go about this.

This works but it's a temporary fix. I have seen streamers etc. who can move their mouse between monitors while in fullscreen mode. What is wrong with my system?

They are in borderless window, not full screen.

Do not confuse windowed mode with borderless window. Not all games support borderless.

I should say that this issue doesn't just happen with games. When I have chrome open and a window over the top such as steam, if I hover off steam for even a second and onto the chrome window, the steam window closes. This isn't just an issue with games it's all windows. I can't find any information on this anywhere so I'm trying all kinds of hardware forums etc.

I saw something about that somewhere, what does that actually mean? If you wouldn't mind helping me with that because I don't get it :)

when the game or whatever loses focus, hit the menu key (near right alt/win keys)
will bring up a menu for whatever has current focus

it just loses focus whenever i move to my second monitor. Whether it be just the desktop, chrome, steam or anything

windows can only have 1 focus point
if you click on the desktop or another program, desktop has focus and not all full screen games will stay full screen when focus is lost

windowed maximized will stay full (with boarder), but boarderless windowed maximized may not
it depends on how the game was designed

Is there a way to stop the focus changing until I actually perform an action on the window? Because at the moment the focus changes to whatever my cursor is hovering over. This did not happen just a month ago. I haven't changed anything but it just started happening
