Elgato Control Centre Software Won't Work

The software is used to control my Elgato Key Light but it randomly stopped working now. When I click it the icon shows up at the bottom right of the taskbar but disappears as soon as I put my cursor on it. It also doesn't show up in task manager... I have tried updating Windows, and different version of the software but no luck. I would revert to an older version of Windows but I don't know how.

Very frustrating and feel defeated, it used to work perfectly without issue.

have you tried installing/running the software under an admin account?
reboot pc after changing/updating/reverting software version

Uninstall it fully.
Download latest version.
Always right click a known good installer and click Run as admin. Admin accounts on Win8/10 do not make you have system level authority, but clicking run as admin does. After installed, set the properties of the apps exe file, to run as admin for all users. Tick disable full screen optimization as well.

If it happens again, look for errors related to that apps exe or dlls within Event Viewer, Windows Logs, Applications for details

Turns out the program RivaTuner was conflicting with the Elgato software, with the help of their support suggesting that. After I knew it was RivaTuner I just set a profile within it for "ControlCenter.exe" and set the App detection level to None. Problem solved.

Having the same problem now. Don't have Riva (or even know what it is lol) and haven't installed or run anything new that I know of. On windows 11, and its not even showing up in the task menu so I think its popping open and then closing although task manager still shows it running so idk.

Update. It was PiHole on my network blocking thing. Assuming Elgato is reaching out to some DNS now for something. So gotta whitelist that.

Yes while RivaTuner and similar apps are good, they are meant to provide helpful options during those times when you run 3D apps like Benchmarks and Games. However web browsers and video capture software can also use your GPU hardware acceleration so it's best to have such apps (such as RivaTuner) configured so that their settings or overlays to do conflict with or apply themselves to those other app, such as video capture or live streaming softwares.
