Will a pc with RTX 2080 and i9 9900K be able to run league of legends at over 60fps?

That's a really overkill system for LoL. In fact, a 6 core i5 (8400/9400) /Ryzen 5 6 core (2600/3600) and a GTX 1060 3GB easily gets you to 1080p 60Hz on LoL, let alone 120Hz.

Well, test complete, I feel dirty even sullying my pc with that game lol.

4k maxed out around 750fps.
1080p maxed out 850fps.
Low settings on either 1100fps, give or take.

This was with the 9900k at 5GHz and the 2080ti pretty much stock, pretty sure its a cpu limitation, so wont be trying the 7900x at 4.8 with sli 1080ti's, as it will be a bit slower due to cpu.

Did you use default 5x5 map, Summoners Rift iirc? Did you have full teams? Did you wait until the map gets filled with minions and enemies? All that stuff is really important, because, as you said, CPU limitation.

No, not that it will have much of an impact, its an old esport game designed to run at high fps on toasters, it wasn't a serious test and I've already uninstalled it, even with 100x more stuff going on, I'd only drop 1-200fps I suspect, which, still puts it at the stupid fps mark, plus, we all know this was a troll post, obviously a high end rig is obscene overkill.

I'm pretty sure 800 FPS is impossible with modern hardware in the main game mode.

Neither was I heh, I purely thought I'd try out of raw curiosity, the download took about 2 minutes so it wasn't like I spent much time to look :)

But as one of those vids is hitting 400 at 4k max with the gpu asleep (look at the speed), it's still clearly capable of over 300, but, as I said, none of that matters at this high, being 250 or 1000 is all but the same to the human eye, it's a crap game anyway lol.

Game's actually good, or well it was back in the day, I played first few seasons a lot. It looks like ancient crap now, and I prefer Heroes Evolved cuz more cuties there.

I recommend at least 1440p 27inch 144hz monitor with that GPU card. Going with a 1080p 60hz monitor would be useless and overkill.

No worries, man. League of Legends is one of those games made to run on almost any PC. I remember having 60+ FPS in LoL with Dual Core E2140 and 8500 GT.
