Have you looked into your windows settigns if the mics are set to 100% in Windows Settigns?
-What mics did you tried?
-how are they connected? Directly to the motherboard rear O/I or to the case front O/I? USB? 3.5mm?
tried it without adapter? what is your current audio driver? have you isntalled chipset drivers befor audio drivers?
BS - no need to do that for the casual gamer. Even for musicians there plenty studio grade USB mics. However the advantage for gamers is non existing.
Download the Driver from the manufacturer of your Motherboard. You also get the choose driver there.
done and it is pretty much the same, i put my mic at 20 boost and 80 volume and it sounds decent but there is a bit of static, does windows do a good job of cutting that out or should i let discord do it
Use the Discord settings for the rest.
