hmm depends. there ppls buying the GTX 1080 Ti because they want to sue the GPu for mroe then 5-6 years until the buy an entire new PC.
But for normal suers that upgrade their GPU anyways within 2-3 years it makes no sense.

By the time you use the warranty your replacement will be a few generations ahead.
All my 1080/ti's run at 65% power at around 50°C and will do this for there whole life and game for another life after if they were still relevant gpu's X years later.
I don't get why people think using your components well within limits will kill them.
I never did mining myself so i dont know, but thats just what i heard.
