Mine supports 2 monitors rather than the single one I linked. I have Benq xl2411z and a Benq xl2730 on the dual version and it handles them absolutely fine. Don't move the xl2730 but I do move the xl2411z. Either have it lining up side by side with the xl2730 or at 90 degree angles. Usually around 45 degree is my usual position.
Up and down can be fiddly. If you want to raise/lower it frequently I'd consider gas arms but they cost a lot more.
Link to ergotech freedom arm Review:
Site of it: http://ergotechgroup.com/freedom-arms.html
The two main sections of the arm for the one I linked is 15cm/6inches so thats 30cm/12inches plus a little more for the actual mounting head and the part connecting to the pole. It's fine for swinging back and forth but anything that require the joints to adjust needs you to lift it up slightly and can be a bit fiddly if I'm honest.
If you intend to move it quite often then the ones you linked looks like it will be much easier. Just make sure the one you pick is VESA 100mm and supports a 24" screen and it'll should be fine for the Xl2411z. If you're unsure contact them directly and ask, sure they will be happy to confirm.
You probably don't know this I don't know but the Monitor arm I linked says it supports monitors with the weight of 8.4 lbs ~ 3.8 kg minimum to 17.8 lbs ~ 8.07 kg but I unattached the monitor normal stand from the monitor and weighed my monitor on a scale meant for weighing people and it said my monitor was 3.1 kg which is lighter than the minimum but my monitor is not unusual and the monitors in videos and pictures about the arm looks like it has monitors that are lighter than mine. So will it still support mine or what should I do. Thank you for helping
Its great and it holds my 34" asus rog monitor no problem.
Well my desk is 2' 8" deep and it makes it all the way out to the front edge of it.
