HDD Stress Test?
Is there any stress tests you can do with a program that makes it constantly read/write to the drive maxing it out?

Also I want it to be temp files, this drive is only 20GB!!!

And yes I recommended CrystalDiskMark as well already.

What is the point? All it does is stress the drive for no reason.

To help it maintain performance over time, do a full disk defrag about once a month or as needed. Overall, an old 20GB HDD is just going to be slow at best anyways, nothing you can do to help boost that. A stress test is just a test, nothing more.
Boot up a linux usb, run “badblocks -svw /dev/sd{x}” (where x is your drive letter) does a 5 pass read/write to every block on the drive. I do that on every drive I suspect has sector errors.

Nah, I don’t use Linux.
Or boot from a Windows OS installer, such as Win7 or 10 USB Flash Drive and once you reach the "Install Now" option, press SHIFT+F10 to bring up CMD prompt window; from here as long as the drive is already initialized + formatted, you can run CHKDSK /F /R on that drive letter. The /F /R switches will check for and mark off any bad sectors, if present.

Thanks! :)
If you want to test the speed of the hdd, just download CrystalDiskMark... I assume thats what you want, because there is no other reason to stress test a hdd...
Kind of what I was thinking, although along the lines of a full read / write and verify of every sector (which is what badblocks gives you), afaik chkdsk is limited to read only
