For example I have a MSI GAMING B85G43 and I have to press F11 before Windows loads.
I'm sorry, I don't know what MB means?
Your Motherboard name.
Ooooor:
Pay attention to the first screen that appears (after restart/start).
Look for a message that indicates which key you need to press to access the BIOS.
For example
https://images.scdn8.secure.raxcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/img_5857968375b93-600x450.png
I did, that isnt working. No other way to get to bios?
It may be possible, I can go to BIOS through MSI command center when I'm on desktop.
Not sure if your MB has a feature that allows the same.
Go in control panel and somewhere there will be system specs.
Write down here, we'll see how to help you further.
Are u trying to enter the bios from a restart or cold start?
Make sure the notebook is off and as soon as you see the bios splash screen start tapping away on the F2 button.
Also worth a try hold F2 or F11 (different between lenovo xyz series) while being off and start the notebook.
Or provoke a stuck error and hold 5 keys at the same time, it will bring up an similar f2 for bios message.
Or hold the B Key on boot.
Or visit the lenovo page and dl/run a bios update.
I dont think i can run an update if I cant access windows?
1. If you have a modern motherboard, press the "Direct Key" and you'll boot to BIOS.
2. Click the Windows key - Power - hold shift key and click restart (keep holding shift key until menu pops up) - Troubleshoot - Advance - UEFI Firmware settings.
This or just type UEFI into Cortana searchbar
