Bricked G933?
! was trying to update the firmware on my headset and about halfway through, it asked me to replug in the headset via usb and replug in the receiver. I did that, and restarted the firmware update. It kept doing this for a few times, until eventually it just asked me to replug everything in and didnt give me the option to reupdate my firmware. Now my adapter is not lighting up and the headset is not working at all. I have tried all of the support for waking the device from sleep, tried uninstalling and reinstalling LGS, I have done it on windows 10 and 3 on different PCs(tried it on a mac too for good measure), I have unplugged the battery and plugged it back in, I have searched EVERYWHERE for anything to help but its just dead. The headset does seem to force LGS to try to update my headset when I plug it in but then I continue getting the message "Please connect your Logitech G933 USB data cable and receiver to continue." The thing is, that if I unplug the usb cable it just says no devices detected - whereas if I keep it in, itll ask me to update the firmware(where it asks me to plug it in, even though it is plugged in) I have tried using different cables too and nothing is working. Any help would be much appreciated

Contact Logitech Support and just explain that the Headset no longer works.
File for a replacement under warranty.

Try to reset the headset by inserting a needle or something in the reset button inside it (google instructions, takes 1 minute and saves you the hassle of having to wait for replacement headset). Happened to me a few times but everytime i reset they worked again.

Yes that too; as sometimes upon a firmware update, the link/sync data between the headset and receiver is lost in translation, Reset should address this.

One thing to note is that when you proceed to forcing the firmware update, you need to be sure to point it at the correct file. While the tutorial may list v25, there may be a chance that will need to be edited to match what is in your folder (go to the folder listed when you changed directory).

The Logitech Software will malfunction. Therefore, the method I linked works and prevents that from happending.

I also tried the hardware reset button several times, with no luck. I tried forcing it with v25, which didnt work, but v27 led me to a firmware update page - where itt asked me to plug in my headset(even though it was)
Im honestly really pissed at their customer service too. I guess Ill just invest in a new headset, thanks for trying though, it means a lot!

Support will replace your headset if you still have warranty, honestly this is the best headset i have ever had but the only problem is the software, hardware wise they're excellent and built with quality materials so i strongly suggest that you wait for their reply.

Same situation, trying a new adapter first and then if that doesn't work already have a RMA approved.

Dont even tbh, its stupid by logitech, dont waste your money on a new adapter. I'd reccomend just sedning it to them and letting them figure it out

I am having the same problem, with update 98.3.27, and have also had to have them RMA my G933. It is a good headset, but you guys are all correct, the software is far inferior to the hardware. I used to use it for work as I do a LOT of conference calls, but it kept dropping the connection, so I use it exclusively for my gaming PC until now, since it is bricked.

TO ANYONE STILL HAVING THIS ISSUE - Nothing I tried worked, and I went through A LOT of stuff, and customer support was useless. What did work was calling this and letting them know that 1)I still had a warranty, and 2)This was their fault, not mine(If you don't have a warranty, I'd suggest using this as an argument, you can also cite that SO MANY people have had this same problem, and I wish you the best of luck!!). For anyone looking to buy the headset, I completely agree with @Dichotomy, the harware is supurd, almost flawless. The software has quite a few things to be desired(when using the headset while charging, it will randomly restart and cut out audio and mic for 4 ish seconds, for example). Overall, I would reccomend it, but not without warranty. Good day, and I hope that this helped you guys!

My G933 also bricked during software update. Trying to find the solution.

The solution is to have Logitech send you a new one. Reach out to their support. They will have you go through a few things to try and get it working, but none of these worked for me, so they ended up sending me a new one. This has happened twice to me and I was sent a new headset each time.
