Bricked G933?
! was trying to update the firmware on my headset and about halfway through, it asked me to replug in the headset via usb and replug in the receiver. I did that, and restarted the firmware update. It kept doing this for a few times, until eventually it just asked me to replug everything in and didnt give me the option to reupdate my firmware. Now my adapter is not lighting up and the headset is not working at all. I have tried all of the support for waking the device from sleep, tried uninstalling and reinstalling LGS, I have done it on windows 10 and 3 on different PCs(tried it on a mac too for good measure), I have unplugged the battery and plugged it back in, I have searched EVERYWHERE for anything to help but its just dead. The headset does seem to force LGS to try to update my headset when I plug it in but then I continue getting the message "Please connect your Logitech G933 USB data cable and receiver to continue." The thing is, that if I unplug the usb cable it just says no devices detected - whereas if I keep it in, itll ask me to update the firmware(where it asks me to plug it in, even though it is plugged in) I have tried using different cables too and nothing is working. Any help would be much appreciated

Sorry for the necro but I have the same damn problem with my G933. Thing is, every damn time I make the mistake of clicking on that stupid G933 update prompt, I have all these kind of issues... You knw, having to press the rest button, searching reddit for answers, crawling under desk to plug/unplug cables.... I am so tired of doing these random fixes every damn times...

But this time, nothing works at all. I have the same exact problem you have ( receiver no light/everything undetected )

I just sent em a ticket but reading your thread I will call them directly. It's damn irritating.... For years I bought logitech. I also have the G510 kb and g700 mouse. I had the g930 headset before and replaced it with the g933 and tbh, I never had that much problem with a piece of hardware like the g933. I am pissed, at a point I am probably going all the way Roccat or something....

If it is bricked, just go through Logitech Support and don't explain how it stopped working, just that it up and stopped working for an unknown reason. Have them replace it if still under warranty.

Yeah I remember few years back, I had a faulty g700 mouse and without much questions, they sent me a new one, not even asking to send me mine back.

They don't ask you to send the product back since such products are not worth refurbishing. Unlike things like motherboard, ram, gpu, psu. But they can tell how old it is, when it was made, when it was sold, where you bought it from... by the serial#

Restoring your bricked wireless receiver dongle is quite possible and it is not very difficult.
Originally, you need to determine the health of your receiver's hardware. If you plug it into a USB port, the OS should identify it as a device named “Avnera AV6301”. This device must identify itself as USB HID\VID_170D&PID_0100.
Next, you need to use the fixed version of the original Logitech G933Update_v27.exe. You must change the bytes at offset 0001092B from 0x6D to 0x0D, at offset 0001092C from 0x04 to 0x17, at offset from 0x5B to 0x00, and at offset 00010952 from 0x0A to 0x01. In this case, the USB firmware update check identifier will change from 0x046D:0x0A5B (“Logitech G933 Wireless Headset Key” ) to 0x170D:0x0100 ("Avnera AV6301"). After that, simply use as usual the corrected version of the firmware updater program to update the firmware.
