You're better off with a USB DAC + Analog Mic
I decided to go with this mic: http://www.bluedesigns.com/products/yeti/ (on second thought maybe this one: https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/UberMic)
These speakers: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003VAHYTG
Still not sure which headphones but I'll probably go with either this: https://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATH-M50x-Professional-Monitor-Headphones/dp/B00HVLUR86 or this: https://www.amazon.com/Philips-SHP9500-Precision-Over-ear-Headphones/dp/B00ENMK1DW
Otherwise it's going to pickup your tying and much much more noise overall.
You basically need to get an adjustable arm mount to isolate the mic from being on any surface.
These mics don't come with their own stands?
