ZZZ to ZIP file
I had a ancient game on my 486 back in the days called Adventures of Albert Attache. Somewhere in the Win XP era I found a person who sent me the file. Now I found again the old mail with the attachment albert.zzz

The mail says:
Ok here it goes again, as the previous mail was rejected because (?) of the attachement.
Rename the extension to zip.

Problem is that Google refuses to download it, due security risk. I tried a workarround to open the mail in a other client and download it like that. I renamed it to zip, but its not recognized anymore as a zip file.
Did Google screwed something up or simply the file is a way too obsolete? Its a DOS game from 1986 but it worked under Win XP.
Probably only a few copies of the game exist now, so I would like to have it.

You mean u have the file online already, but Google Chrome refuses to download it?
There is easy work around for that.

Link me to this file and I'll have a look.

Try the TrID[mark0.net] tool, it will try and identify based on the signature of the file (extension does not matter)

EDIT forgot there is a gui version lol - TrIDNet[mark0.net]

Also if you have probs downloading try .tgz that usually works - also try going to "Under the Hood" settings, the "Download" section, click box next to "Ask where to save each file before downloading" and see if it will allow the download.

Most likely the downloaded version is corrupt due Google. The download is 43 bytes, while doing a scan of the Google file it shows a 24kb binary file.

Okay I solved it easily by downloading the file via Android.

There are now 3 files in:

ALBERT (exe file)
SHAPES.DAT
STREET.DRW

Last file change date 22.11. 1983! Unfortunately I cannot run it via Windows 10, seems I need get Dosbox. If anybody interested in the game, can leave me a message.

Run it in DOSBox or a VM

I have been looking for this game also! Where did you find it?

I leave a temporary link on my profile with the file on my Gdrive. Give me back a response when you downloaded it.
