Overclock Asus Geforce GTX 1050 Ti 4Gb STRIX
i don't want to overclock it 100%
but i need a bit of more power

so what is the avrage and the max that i can do it?
Messaggio originale di PATENT:
1050 strix costs more than cheapest 1060 in my country.. this isn't a powerful card so overclocking it may only give you a MAX of 5 more fps. Add +100 to core clock and +300 to memory at beginning and run benchmark or just play single player game, if it won't crush you can add some more to core and memory like 30 and 100 this time. If system crash go back to last OC.

I woudn't go past +150 on core and +500 on memory tho, high OC may damage the card due to overheat. Adn never touch voltages.

Overclocking such a low-end GPU isn't worth it anyway. You might only gain 5 fps at most.
yeah .. cuz i want to try something
but i need safe overclocking

Download and install MSI afterburner, you can safely play around with everything, EXCEPT THE VOLTAGE! Don't touch the voltage, that is the only thing which can harm your card.

The voltage should be greyed out by default anyway to keep you from breaking your card. And even if you unlock it the overvolting you can do is limited.

Worst thing that could happen when increasing the clock speeds too high is that the GPU might crash.

Overclock GTX 1050 Ti probably you CPU is the bottleneck, I have a i7-7700K
Nvidia GTX 970 I can run every game on steam at high setting no lag and run tf2 at 205 fps and Overwatch at high setting

Yes. If you do max everything your GPU will crash for sure. The drivers might recover or they might not forcing you to restart the PC.

Even if it is +5 fps is better than +0 fps.
This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
