It is good but put it on power saver in the power options and then adjust ur options not to make the computer sleep and other options which won't interrupt the download.:life:

Or maybe there is a way to shut it down after download is finished

I don't see any problem with it. Downloading something is basically computer being idle, as long it takes only very few resources.

Probably very few, because the download speed is 700kb/s

Yes there are options like that but I have seen them mainly in torrent clients or download managers.

Also does anyone know how to increase the speed because I used to download with 3mb/s now it barely sometimes jumps up to 1.5mb/s its usually 600kb/s

My PC's never shutdown. I've had miners going for 24/7 for over 3 years with no issue.

You would be fine if the download took weeks.

Well of course they are no less than gold with most being platinum, but your not stressing out anything by just downloading so your PSU doesn't need to be top shelf.

A 80+ Bronze is enough for a common users. Just avoid chinabrands, rely on brands like Seasonic, FSP, Superflower or their OEMs.
Yes.

Avoiding "Chinese brands" make little sense and will make even less sense in the future.

China has copied a lot of manufacturing knowedge and process and will copy and develop things further. Of course a Chinese company could make a just as reliable PSU as say one from here in Sweden. It depends on what you want to offer on the market.

Everything from China won't be bad. Bad stuff will be bad. Regardless of where they are from. And good stuff will be good. Maybe for individual companies they aren't there in all categories but there will of course be Chinese companies which will be among the top tier producers of items real soon.

I said chinabrands, not stuff made in China. Im pretty sure a way too many recommended power supplies are made there, just as most hardware.
But just because the brand is Chinese won't say much either.
It may be true now but you can't judge them by country of origin. Actual construction is what matters. Whatever. I'm not really up for discussing it.

My Pc also runs 24/7.
i Can't remember when was the last time i shut down my PC. May be Years ago.
My power supply is a cheap PSU.
idle PC needs only around 100 watts. So power supply is not an issue.
all PC parts are made to lasts 5+ years, even if you use 24/7.
