Display Disconnects and Reconnects Randomly While In-Game
I've tested this happening in various games like CSGO, RE7, RE6, RE4, Batman: Arkham Orgins, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Metro Redux 2033, Company of Heroes, F.E.A.R, F.E.A.R 2, SOMA, and Assassin's Creed: Black Flag (on UPLAY).

RE7, RE6, Metro, and Batman: Arkham Origins are the only games to not do this for some reason, which is probably a clue to why this is happening. To be clear, what is happening exactly is that my screen will turn into a rainbow or some ♥♥♥♥, black out, and then turn back on and will repeat this after a few seconds of gameplay randomly. My video card is not overclocked and it is brand new. The temperature does not surpass 60C. I'm hoping it is just my monitor not being compatible, but it could just be a software issues since it does not happen on every game.

Specs
GPU: Geforce 1050 Ti
CPU: AMD Ryzen 1500x
MB: Gigabyte Ab350
PSU: SeaSonic - 520W
RAM: GeIL - EVO POTENZA 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory
SSD: Mushkin - ECO2 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
HD: Western Digital - Blue 2TB 3.5" 5400RPM Internal Hard Drive
OS: Windows 10
Monitor: Using Insignia TV, 60hz, 1080p

IDK if all of this information is relative, but hopefully it helps solve the issue.

Display Driver Crashing possibly
or a problem with the monitors cable.

There does seem to be something fishy going on with the cable because when I rebuilt my computer in an attempt to solve this issue, I was having a hard time getting the display to work until I messed around with which port I put the hdmi in.
What do I do about a driver crash though? Also I have discovered while watching a video last night on YouTube that this issue occurs when I am watching at full screen.

This started happening after a Windows update as well that updated the operating system, so maybe its linked. I've tried moving the graphics card to another port, and rebuilding my computer as well.

if you mean the Fall Update
try reinstalling the NVIDIA drivers

Yea it was just the cable lol I bought a new HDMI cord and replaced my old one and the problem went away. I should have known this before. Thanks for the help!

Sorry for the almost 4-year comment.

Another fix for this issue is I found that some people may have some lower-end monitors. If this is the case going into the console and limiting the max refresh rate of the game may alleviate a fix for some people.

go into cs go console(~) and type max_fps X and replace x with the refresh rate of your desired monitor. <3

Replying to an old thread but I had to say, you people are a god send, I'm having essentially this same issue and was worried that my computer had finally ♥♥♥♥ the bed, but now I know that's its probably just my HDMI cord crapping out.
